TURNING ON THE SHOWERS OF BLESSING 1 by Pastor Joshua Olaleye

Text: Deut. 28:1-14

INTRODUCTION:

Shower means a fall of rain, snow or water etc. Shower of blessing is the release of God's blessings upon the life of man. It is the abundance of prosperity, miracles and wonders, which the Almighty God pours upon His people. But there are always some keys to turn on the showers of blessing before they begin to fall. These keys and how to use them are what we shall be examining in this series. May the Lord Himself teach us and release His showers of blessing upon us in this glorious year of abundance in Jesus Name. 

1. WHO GIVES THE SHOWERS OF BLESSING?

True and enduring prosperity (blessings) comes from God Almighty, as it is Him that giveth power to make wealth. However, some people seek their prosperity from other sources which does not last and is full of sorrow.

2. WHO RECEIVES THE SHOWERS OF BLESSING?

Our God is generous with His blessings. But not all those who desire to be blessed do receive showers of blessings. There are certain qualifications for those who must really be blessed. 

Deut. 28:1, Isa. 55:2, 1 Pet. 2:9, Deut. 26:19, Ps. 1:1-4, Mk. 7:27-28, Matt. 7:6-7, Jn. 1:12, Isa. 3:10,  2 Cor. 5:21, Gal. 3:13-14, Job 36:11, Ps. 35:27.
