Burial Arrangement of Late Elder Ogunmoroti
Olugbenga Temitope Ogunmoroti was born in Ilaro, Ogun state on the 26th of February 1958 to late Mr Joseph Olajide Ogunmoroti of Ifaki Ekiti and Mrs Dorcas Olasumbo Abike Ogunmoroti (nee Ilo).
He got married to Barrister Makanjuola Ajike Ogunmoroti (nee Olokodana) on December 7th 1991 and their marriage was blessed with three children: Temitayo, Opeyemi and Anuoluwapo.
Mr Gee, as fondly called by friends, colleagues and associates, attended K-Kotun Nursery and primary School, Surulere between 1964 and 1969 and Igbobi College, Yaba between 1970 and 1974.
He proceeded to Ibadan Poly for his A-Levels between 1974 and-1976. He subsequently attended Yaba College of Technology to study Civil Engineering between 1977 and 1980. He was later admitted into Ogun state University in 1982 to study Industrial Chemistry and he graduated in 1986 after which he proceeded to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 1987 to 1988.
His work experience began with Nigerian Textile Millis as Executive Officer between 1989 and 1990 after which he moved to Afro Merchants Nigeria Limited as Sales and Marketing Manager between 1990 and 1991. In pursuit of better prospects, he joined Horb Ventures Nigeria Limited, Engineering Contractors Firm between 1991 and 1993 as General Manager, Operations after which he set up his own private Company O’Gees & Co Limited in 1993 till date.
He attended various courses and seminars amongst which are NEXIM/NDE programme and Solutions to Water Treatment of Impure Water in underdeveloped countries to mention few.
Gbenga was a devout Christian and believer, a worker, a teacher and an elder in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Strongtower Parish, Akoka. He was also Publicity Secretary, Elders Council of Lagos Province 44. He served in various committees of his parish. He was actively involved in the building project of the Church’s Zonal headquarter from foundation to completion as he was vice Chairman, Building Committee and saw to the successful movement to its permanent site at St. Finbars College Road, Akoka on April 19, 2015 before God called him home on April 22, 2015.
He was not only an accomplished business man, husband, father but also a God fearing man who always strive to be at peace with all and sundry at any given opportunity. He loves soccer and does not joke with his sleep.
